仙霞何事名仙霞，巅末得之神仙家。
此山南来绝高峻，上插云表参天涯。
群仙游宴绝顶上，不饮烟火汤与茶。
朝餐赤霞吸其英，暮餐黄霞咀其华。
日傲烟霞为洞府，不踏尘寰寸泥沙。
后躅跻攀不可得，危梯峻级频咨嗟。
高人欲解行者疲，掇作好语清而嘉。
故取仙霞起人慕，非以仙霞为世夸。
流传岁月浸久远，此意零落说又差。
谓酌流霞固浅陋，谓著霞衣亦浮葩。
我来登陟动幽趣，愧无洒落清襟怀。
聊寓数言代岭记，未可例视为南华。

陈淳，1483年生，1544年逝世（另一种说法是1482—1539），长洲（今江苏苏州）人。字道复，后以字行，更字复甫，号白阳，又号白阳山人。他的有些作品，所画质朴，可以看出受沈周画法的影响， 从他现存作品中即可见风格和用笔，既能放得开，又能收得住。在绘画史上，陈淳与徐渭并称为“白阳、青藤”， 陈淳的绘画当属文人隽雅一路的，即“白阳”一派画家。
