（1725—1805）清陕西韩城人，字伟人，号惺园，别号畏堂、葆淳。乾隆二十六年进士第一，授修撰。官至东阁大学士、军机大臣。嘉庆时以衰病乞休。历事两朝，以刚正忠直著称。卒谥文端。有《葆醇阁集》、《惺园易说》。
